RECS100
RECS100 by Nycon are 20 denier, mono-filament PVA fibers (Polyvinyl Alcohol) for use in creating fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC). The primary benefits of RECS100 are lightweight flexural strength as well as increased impact and abrasion resistance. They are a preferred reinforcement solution for applications under a 1/2 inch thick. RECS100 fibers can replace glass fibers in GFRC at a third of the weight of glass. These PVA fibers bond on a molecular level (hydrogen bonding) within concrete, creating a multi-dimensional network of tensile (180 ksi (1200 MPa)) and flexural (3600 ksi (25 GPa)) strength.
RF4000
RF4000 by Nycon are 130 denier, mono-filament macro PVA fibers (Polyvinyl Alcohol) for use in creating fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC). The primary benefits of RF4000 are light-weight flexural strength and increased impact and abrasion resistance. These PVA fibers bond on a molecular level (hydrogen bonding) within concrete, creating a multi-dimensional network of it's tensile strength (120 ksi (800 MPa) ).
RFS400
RFS400 by Nycon are PVA fibers (Polyvinyl Alcohol) with a denier of 40 for use in creating fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC). These fibers are designed for the purpose of adding flexural strength to concrete and improving impact and abrasion resistance. RFS400 also provides shrinkage and temperature crack control. These PVA fibers bond on a molecular level (hydrogen bonding) within concrete, creating a multi-dimensional network of tensile (240 ksi (1600 MPa) ) and flexural strength.
SF Type-V
SF Type-V by Nycon are drawn, continuously deformed steel fibers for use in creating fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC) and shotcrete. This fiber product can replace welded wire mesh and is our most economical steel fiber solution.
SSF Type V
SSF Type V by Nycon are drawn, continuously deformed stainless steel fibers for use in creating fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC) and shotcrete. This fiber product can replace welded wire mesh and bolsters impact and abrasion resistance by diffusing the energy of those forces throughout the whole of the concrete. SSF Type V is Stainless Steel to resist corrosion.
SSF Type-I HE
SSF Type-I “Hooked End” steel fiber products by Nycon are cold-drawn mono-filament steel fibers for use in creating fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC). These fibers specifically designed for use in concrete products for the purpose of primary reinforcement and are available in loose or collated versions. These fibers are stainless steel to resist corrosion and their hooked end configuration allows for a predictable failure point in their unbending.
XL-100
XL-100 by Nycon are high-tensile macro mono-filament Polypropylene fibers for use in creating fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC). The primary benefits of XL-100 are shrinkage crack and thermal crack control as well as increased tensile and flexural strength enough to replace welded wire mesh.
