XL-100 by Nycon are high-tensile macro mono-filament Polypropylene fibers specifically designed for use in concrete products for the purpose of providing shrinkage crack and thermal crack control as well as increasing tensile and flexural strength enough to replace welded wire mesh.

    XL-100 by Nycon can be added directly to the mixing system during or after the batching of the ingredients and mixed at high speed for a minimum of five minutes. Additional mixing does not adversely affect the distribution or overall performance of XL-100. The addition of XL-100 at the normal recommended dosage rate (3-10 lb/cy) does not require any mix design or application changes. A water reducer or super-plasticizer is recommended in concrete products where improved workability and finishability are desired.
